Should RFID Be Used to Monitor Students? Yes
According to the author, radio frequency identification (RFID) technology should be used to monitor students. The criticisms against the use of RFID technology for monitoring students are misplaced. RFID technology can accurately account for the presence of students within the school grounds. Regulations require that schools should constantly be aware of the whereabouts of their students. Other technologies, such as global positioning system, are more invasive, yet they have been accepted as a necessary in modern society.
