The journey: From where we started to where we hope to go
Abstract: Mixed research has arisen in response to the demand for quantitative research and qualitative research. Not too much material is available on the topic of teaching mixed research. Hence this special issue on teaching methodologies was instituted. Mixed researchers must develop a philosophical way of thinking in their research and writings. Two cases of mixed research are described.
